In each limited edition box, you will also receive delightful bookish keepsakes, carefully chosen for the theme of the season.

Please note: our Fall Edit box is no longer available. When you place your purchase you will be charged at checkout and signed up to receive the Winter Edit, which will be announced and shipped in November.

The Fall 2019 Box:
The recent releases included in this Fall's box, while quite new, are all sure to top the bestseller list. For this season's exclusive jacket designs, we worked with our friends at Obvious State to create jackets that convey
the contemplative nature of the stories within, and embody the tranquil coziness of Autumn. Each box comes with a limited edition book set, an Obvious State x Juniper Books mug, and a Juniper Books tote bag.

The novels in this season's box highlight personal interactions and relationships, using a character’s unique story as a catalyst to explore the ways connections are built, and how humanity is linked by our individual experiences. These stories are quiet, thoughtful meditations that focus on family and the ties between strangers that reveal the thin thread that connects us all.

The books in the Fall Edit are published by Scribner, Penguin Press, and Doubleday.

More about the books:

Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane
At its core, Ask Again, Yes is a family drama that penetrates core fears, weaknesses, and connections that forever link two families after one night that challenges their realities. This story begs the question: are the worst-case scenarios survivable? Keane tells a tragic yet triumphant story of two families living as neighbors, in which the suburban idyll is destroyed in a single act of violence. At once a look into mental illness, coping, and forgiveness, Keane writes with great humanity, crafting each character with such depth and humanity that redemption feels not only possible, but hopeful and wholly life-affirming.

On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong
This novel takes the form of a letter written by the main character, Little Dog, to his mother - a Vietnamese immigrant who cannot read. Grappling with themes of identity, sexuality, addiction, violence, and finding your place in a world where you don’t feel belonging Little Dog offers vignettes of a life marred by trauma as he tries to understand his relationships with family, friends, and most importantly, himself. This book is more than a story; it is an experience.

The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo
Claire Lombardo has written a rich and rewarding novel brimming with the messiness of families, in a way that will be all too familiar. Secrets (both kept and revealed) provide a backdrop for the life-long love affair of Marilyn and David Sorenson as they raise their four daughters. In her debut novel, the author displays an innate understanding of human nature, the rigors of siblinghood, and the opportunities for hurt, shame, and salvation that life throws us all in equal turns.
